Information for foreign authors
The Russian Journal of Nondestructive Testing takes for publishing original papers on different methods and instrumentation for nondestructive testing.
Journal indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (WoS) and SCOPUS.
Prepare your manuscript following the 'Guidelines' on http://pleiades.online/en/journal/nondes/. The text of manuscript has to be concise and clear written in English. The title and abstract should be free from abbreviations.

1. The editorial board reminds that the Russian Journal of Nondestructive Testing publishes only new original works, which contain significant scientific and technical achievements and which cannot be found in other sources. We inform you that we check all incoming articles for plagiarism. Moreover, we check all incoming articles for content of significant quantity of already published data. The authors, which make such violations, will lost further cooperation with our journal.
2. Lately, we've been receiving a number of submissions focused on neural network technologies. However, many of these papers don't present new experimental results, explore new physical phenomena, or analyze the physical principles behind monitoring and diagnosing materials and products.
At Russian Journal of Nondestructive Testing (RJNDT), our core mission is to advance the physical foundations of nondestructive testing and diagnostic methods. Using neural networks to recognize complex visual data and video imagery is definitely a promising way to enhance nondestructive testing.
That said, in the context of our journal, neural networks should serve as a tool to improve nondestructive testing—not the main focus of the research. We encourage authors to be more thoughtful in choosing topics that align with the goals and scope of RJNDT.
